Centuries have passed now, and a new pair of brave adventurers wish to claim the Bands as their own Diane, a powerful sorceress, and Kat, a self proclaimed knight. Their bond of friendship and teamwork is strong, but so were many of those who braved the ruins to claim these treasures.
Will theirs be a bond that stays bound tight, or will the trials tear them apart like so many before?

A decent debut of an indie author interested in the relationships and personalities of his characters and settings, rather than mere titillating plots that plague the modern market.At a first glance, the premise may seem generic. Warrior and mage go on an adventure, adventure happens, and then romance. And that's usually when the story ends, but thankfully this story averts the formula. The characters are further developed than generic narrative shells that move the reader from plot point to plot point, and are filled with quirks, worries, and a broad spectrum of emotions beyond the simple lust and angst the average reader is used to today.
The story isn't perfect, perhaps the first serious work in the indie industry the author has taken, but it's clear the care and attention he gave to it, and the effort he put forth that makes it a worthy read above the abundance of grit one can find in self-published works.
Besides, if one can make a barbarian equally cute and ferocious without coming across as tacky, their story is most certainly worth a read.
Definitely recommended.

Definitely recommend to anyone who likes this genre. A really well written RPG style fantasy book with an LGBTQI+ twist.
This story was a very enjoyable read. I definitely look forward to future exploits between these two and what may come as a consequence of the journey told in this book.
